Rules and General Conditions
Winter Season Rental
- The client assumes full responsibility for the rented equipment and is responsible for checking its integrity upon delivery.
- The first rental day must be paid at the time of equipment delivery as a deposit and is non-refundable. Any subsequent days will be calculated and settled upon return of the equipment.
- It is possible to insure the rented equipment by paying a fee equal to 10% of the rental price. The insurance covers 75% of the equipment value in case of theft or loss. In the event of damage, the client will be charged 50% of the repair cost (when technically possible) or, alternatively, 50% of the equipment value.
Excluded from insurance coverage are poles, skis belonging to the Platinum and Diamond categories, and all items not included in the ski, snowboard, boots, and helmet categories. - The cost for the loss or breakage of one or both poles is €10.00.
- If the client leaves the rental point without paying the required deposit (equal to the first day), Only Ski reserves the right to automatically apply the insurance agreement to protect both the company and the client.
- In case of loss, theft, or damage without insurance coverage, or in the case of vandalism or improper use (with or without insurance), the full market value of the equipment or the full repair cost will be charged. In case of theft, the client must file a report with the competent authorities. If the equipment is not returned and the client cannot be located, Only Ski reserves the right to report the case to the authorities.
- Early returns of equipment do not entitle the client to a refund, except in the case of injury or illness documented with a medical certificate, or proven force majeure.
- Equipment can be picked up between 17:00 and 18:00 the day before the rental and returned by 18:00 on the last day, or by 10:00 on the following day, without additional charges. Late returns will incur an extra day of rental.
- During the rental period, if necessary, specific items may be exchanged, even for items of different categories. Upgrading to a higher category requires payment of the price difference, while downgrading does not entitle the client to a refund.
In addition to exchanges for necessity (e.g., size or technical adjustments), pleasure exchanges are allowed. The first exchange, if it does not involve upgrading to a higher category, is free. From the second exchange onward, consecutive rental days
are reset and calculated from the base rate.
- Exchanging skis for a snowboard, or vice versa, is allowed once without additional cost, except for any price differences between categories. If both types of equipment are used for one or more days, or multiple switches occur, the second equipment will be charged as an extra rental with a 30% discount. The client must keep both pieces of equipment. The same applies to exchanges between skis/snowboards and ski mountaineering or freeride equipment.
- Half-day rentals start at 12:30, with pick-up possible from 12:00.
- At delivery, the client is advised to check the equipment identification codes to avoid exchanges. Upon return, the operator will verify that the returned equipment corresponds to the rented items. If codes do not match, the exchange procedure outlined in the dedicated section will be applied.
- Only Ski reserves the right to verify the condition and integrity of returned equipment and to charge the client for any damaged or missing items.
- Binding adjustments comply with current regulations and are based on client-provided physical parameters. The client is responsible for the accuracy of this information.
- Wearing a helmet is mandatory for all (law 96/2025 ) for both on-piste and off-piste or ski mountaineering activities. Only Ski is not responsible for any negligence by the client.
